Money as Gift?!

Well it’s a tradition here and usually a safe option to give money as gift. This is an envelope that I made for a friend who wants to give money as gift on someone’s wedding. Our weddings are grand…GRAND. This is just perfect with all the gold and the medallion (which looks like a henna design too).

This is 3x6. The medallion is hand drawn and then I have used embossing paste and gold glitter and sequins to enhance the design and give it a more traditional look.

The gold thingy around the circumference is a gold bail/ribbon.

Wow! That's amazing! I can't believe that that is hand drawn, it looks like something you would buy at a fabric store, stitched on cloth! Beautiful!

Breathtaking. It does look like henna. SO incredibly lovely. I can't believe the patience it must take to use that paste. WOW!
