Altenew Enjoy the Ride Scrapbook Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello!
You must be here from Elsie Robinson's blog.

Welcome to Enjoy The Ride Scrapbook Collection.

I have three cards to share with you featuring Enjoy The Ride and Blooming Ephemera.

I don't have much to tell about these cards, they are self-explanatory.

I just layered up the pattern papers and ephemera.

And added gold glitter cardstock to all three cards for a little sparkle.

For this, I did stamp the sentiment from the Snapshot Stamp Set.

And lastly this one.

All these cards came together rather quickly.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog or Altenew Mixed Media Blog by 9/1/2020 for a chance to win.

You can start from the Altenew blog. That is where the fun starts!

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Calla Lily | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

I will not be going into detail about the watercolouring process for this card because I have a video for you scheduled to go live on 8/31 at the Altenew YouTube channel! YAY!
Because of my new setup, it has become easier for me to record my processes more frequently and easily.

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Calla Lily | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

The image looked quite daunting really. And I kept looking at the outlines as so not mix them up but I did mix up one flower with the leaf! LOL but hey? You cant tell, can you? :)

I had so much fun colouring this. The colours I used are Ruby Red from the Watercolor Brush Markers, the yellow and greens from the Artists' Watercolour Pan Set. I did use a bit of Moss Watercolour Brush Marker pigment as well.

To make colouring easier and the process a tad faster for me, I did heat emboss the image.

I used my go-to stippling technique to add texture to the image.

I kept the remaining card super simple. The total time it took me to colour this image was 21:25 minutes, that's how long the footage is and mind you, I was snacking in between too HAHA

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog by 8/27/2020 for a chance to win. Altenew Texture Adventure Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there everyone!
Welcome to Altenew Stand-alone Dies Release!
You must be here from Kelly Griglione's blog.

I have one project to share with you featuring the Burlap Texture Die.
I stamped the base layer of Fabulous Florets in Fresh Lemon Dye Ink then went with the Pinkalicious Dye Ink for the second layer. Next, I used a red and a pink Prismacolor pencil to add details for the petals. For the flower centers, I used Artist Markers in browns and a black pen.
For the leaves, I used Milk Chocolate and Almond Butter Dye Inks. I also added pencil details to the leaves using various shades of brown.

Before adhering the Burlap Texture die-cut in kraft, I added a light colour wash of Espresso Watercolor from the 36 Pan Set.
I adhered all images on foam tape. The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog by 8/25/2020 for a chance to win.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi, there everyone!
Welcome to Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Release.
You must be here from Vicky Papaioannou's blog.

If you just happen to stop by, start from the Altenew blog.

I have a grungy card to share with you.

I die-cut the flowers out of 9x12 watercolour cardstock. Next, I used Cotton Candy and Cosmic Berry from the 36 Pan Watercolour Set to colour the flowers. For leaves, I used Evergreen.

To make the background, I used the A2 Watercolour cardstock and applied watercolor using Espresso Watercolour.
The stamp used on the background is Shades of Love, which I heat embossed using Antique Gold Embossing Powder.
To add more sparkle, I added white and gold paint splatters from the Metallic Watercolour Set.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners!
Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win.
