This month's kit is called the Vintage Tapestry and it is GORGEOUS!
I have several cards to share with you but I do apologize in advance that I won't be able to share ink names as I lost all of my data.
I added a light colour wash on the background before adhering the images.
All of my cards have a lot of gold splatters!
For this one, I actually added a light ink blending on the background. Each card has something different going on.
Ombre ink blending on the background and a mix of stenciling and stamping.
I used the embossing folder too on this one! So much fun and texture! Again, lots of inking on this too!
Again, I used the embossing folder on this one and on top of that, I used the stencil to apply ink through the stencil. I then ran the panel gain through the embossing folder to get all the gorgeous dimension back! So good!!
I am sure you can tell I had SO MUCH FUN creating these cards! And there is no colouring involved here!

ReplyDeleteI just love all the cards Erum made. Very classic pink with yellow and orange are some of my favorite colors and the backgrounds for all the cards are so electrifyingly beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI have the other CYL kits, but I'm on the fence on this one. I definitely liked the colors that you are using much more, it really helped me see perhaps what I could do. I don't have tons of inks yet, I have a few cube sets of yours but not a lot, but I hope that I can still make this kit work until I can get a few more sets. Your color sense is really tremendous!!! Your cards make me very happy! Hoping to see more kits like the first one, it seems that many of the kits after the first one have been more of the older style of the layering, I have hoped to see more kits like the first one and to see some other flowers other than so many looking like roses. There are so many flowers out there, and combinations that can be done. We all have different tastes and needs, and likely this is meeting lots of creative needs for many. I think that the artwork is beautiful, just that I have stamps and dies from Altenew that are like this already, and I probably have less than many Altenew fans although I have quite a few. It's always a pleasure to see Erum's artwork, what a talented artist!!!
