Hello and welcome to the March 2022 Release!
You must be here from Mindy Eggen's blog.
My first card features the Endless Florescence Stamp Set.
I stamped the image on A2 Watercolor cardstock in Obsidian Ink and used the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set to color the panel.
This was fun, loose watercolor. Much like the ones I share on YouTube. I added splatters of white chalk paint in the end.
I was most excited about this stamp! I love leaves, trees and I love to use them in an artsy way. So I did use the layering stamps and inks from different families to create my autumn tree.
Then I added my own touch of watercolour to it. So it would feel the tree is still blooming and look like it's on fire! I also added some dead/dry grass and painted ground. I liked how it turned out. You can step this up and further add foliage to the background, add some sky and maybe greenery if you were doing this on a slightly larger scale.
Alright, isn't this the cutest?! I used the packaging from the Cat Life Die Set and created my shaker out if it! The panel is A2 Watercolor Cardstock and for the background, I used Cherry Blossom and Tea Party pigments from the Artists' Watercolor.
I was so engrossed with the shaker, I forgot to colour the image completely. But I think it looks ok, goes with the look :p
