Some fun colouring on Paint-A-Flower: French Marigold.
Added a light color wash to the background to ground the image.
Super easy card, features the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Eclectic Bouquet. Just used the coloring stencils and a couple of ink shades for colouring.
Added details with a white gel pen.
The card features the Build-A-Garden Mornign Asters.

Used the Mystic Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set J to add color to the Mini Wild Dog 3D Embossing Folder.

ReplyDeleteGeez Louise ... it's hard to pick a favorite here. I think the Asters are my fave of this trio, but - GOOD NEWS - I don't NEED to choose, so I will say that I love all three cards! Your cards seem to have their own energy. Love!!!

ReplyDeleteThe first card is my personal fave and the one I'd choose to copy. How can a few ink splatters do so much for any card? Love that technique.
ReplyDeleteWow! Love all these! I wish I knew how you did the color wash on the first one... I want to get into watercolor but I haven't tried yet, so I am assuming that is what you mean by color wash? And I am traditionally not a "green" fan but the background and the composition on the Morning Asters card really is striking! Love it! Thanks for sharing your talent!
