Altenew May 2025 Release + GIVEAWAY

 

Hi there, everyone!

Welcome to the Altenew May 2025 Release Hop + GIVEAWAY!

As always, I had an absolute blast creating the projects for this release - I didn't have enough time to play with all the products, but GOSH! This was SO MUCH FUN! 

My first card features the GORGEOUS Craft Your Life Project Kit: Magnificent Magnolias. 

I added soft inking to the background to accentuate the flowers. I like how this one turned out. You will notice I used this particular color palette quite a bit.

My second card features the Mini Delight: Potted Shelves Stamp & Die Set. 

I watercolored the background. The shelf is gold heat embossed, and the die-cuts are colored using Artist Alcohol Markers.

I used the Opera Lemon watercolor tube to create my faux-fireflies! 

The third card features Build-A-Garden: Tranquil Trail. 

Absolutely adore this one; brings a smile to my face :) It looks so pretty!! The ink shades are quite muted in person.

The fourth card features only the stamp from the Build-A-Garden: Tranquil Trail and one of the vases from the Pitcher Vases 3D Embossing Folder & Die Set.

The fifth card is super simple. This one features the Lace 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Creative Cuts: In the Woods Layering Die Set. 

I used Cloud White Pigment Ink on the embossed pattern and added Mother of Pearl Gem Sparkles for the bling.

Card number six features three products from the release, one product from the promo. One of the vases from the Pitcher Vases 3D Embossing Folder & Die Set, some sprigs and flowery bits from the Creative Cuts: In the Woods Layering Die Set, and the sentiment from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Magnificent Magnolias. You will see the stencil in the background soon at Altenew.

My seventh card is a one-layer card with a significant amount of masking, featuring only the stencil and sentiment from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Magnificent Magnolias.

And my last card features the beautiful Stencil Art: Ditsy Flowers Wallpaper Layering Stencil Set, along with one of the vases from the Pitcher Vases 3D Embossing Folder & Die Set. I added a bit of texture using a couple of relief pastes, mixing them to complement the inking.

I haven’t blogged in 2 years, so it was a surprise to find myself participating in a blog hop, LOL. You will find me mostly on Instagram now. 

This card features the Creative Cuts: Old City Doors Layering Die Set. 

I painted the scene using Artists’ Watercolor Tubes and Gouache.

This card features the Mini Delight: Bridge to My Heart Stamp & Die Set. 

I used dye inks to add a soft color wash to the background.

This card features the Quill & Inkwell Die Set, Scripted Sentiments Die Set, and Royal Brocade 3D Embossing Folder. 

This card features the Build-A-Garden: Oxeye Daisy without an outline.

This project features the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Flower Arch, and I used a matching relief paste to add shimmer to the bricks.

And here is my last project; I didn’t make too many this time - Stencil Art: Strong Oak Layering Stencil Set (6 in 1).

Altenew March 2023 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop #2 + Giveaway

 

Hello friends!

Welcome to Altenew's March Marvelous Monthly Release!

The card features Paint-A-Flower: Magnolia Grandiflora Outline Stamp Set.

I heat embossed the image and then used the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set to color it.

I used the Gold Pen from the Must-Have Gel Pen Get for additional details.

I kept this card super simple; it features the Build-A-Garden: Dancing Poppies.

I used the coloring stencils to color the image.

I only used one blue ink and one gray ink. So you can use any of your favourite blues and grays. Or any of your favourite colour combos!

I spent a little bit more time on this one. Here I used the Paint-A-Flower: Magnolia Grandiflora Outline Stamp Set.

I used the Woodless Watercolor Pencils to color this image and then fussy cut it without leaving an outline. I also added dot details with a Fine Liner pen. 

Next I used aqua and green inks through the Fine Tulle stencil for my background, added a few splatters, and adhered everything. 

I saved my favourite card for the last. This did not photograph well. It really looks beautiful in person. 

The card features Craft Your Life Project Kit: Delicate Garden.

I picked a bunch of Altenew inks and randomly applied them through the coloring stencil. But I used Dark Night for the leaves. 

I used coordinating Artist Alcohol Markers and added shading, which added a lot of depth and interest. 

To add more bling, I added details using a gold watercolor instead of a gold gel pen.

Some fun colouring on Paint-A-Flower: French Marigold. 

Added a light color wash to the background to ground the image.

Super easy card, features the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Eclectic Bouquet. Just used the coloring stencils and a couple of ink shades for colouring. 

Added details with a white gel pen. 

The card features the Build-A-Garden Mornign Asters.

Altenew February 2023 Boho Chic Stamp, Die, Stencil & More Release Blog Hop #2 + Giveaway

 

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Altenew's February 2023 release!

I have quite a few cards to share with you.

My first card features the Swamp Buttercup Layering Stencil Set (5 in 1).

Absolutely had a blast creating this project.

I paired it with the amazing Masonry Wall 3D Embossing Folder.

Next up is the tiny but gorgeous Wild Geranium.

I have used this color combination before, but this time I tweaked it a little bit, going more purple instead of plum.

The circle die-cut in the center is Rose Gold CS.

Super fun card! And turned out super vibrant too! Features the Patchwork Tiles Builder Stencil.

It looked more lovely after popping all those gems!

Rainbow is the safest way for me if I cant think of anything LOL 

The rainbow watercolor card features the Boho Arrow Stamp Set.

I had to use one of the lovely washi tapes! The card features Wild Geranium and Gradient Washi Tape - Cherry Blossom A.

Excuse the creases. I made the mistake of using a heat gun too close to this card panel :( 

Otherwise, it looked really beautiful.

The card features Gradient Washi Tape - Cherry Blossom B and Nostalgic Florals Stamp.
