Sentimental Sundays: Whimsical

Heya folks! It’s time for another challenge over at Sentimental Sundays and this week the theme is “Whimsical”. A Day for Daisies is sponsoring this challenge and will be giving out a $12 gift certificate to the winner.

As you can see my printer is running out of ink again, but thankfully it goes with the shabby feel of the card. The paper and the butterflies are all digi prints. I coloured over the printed butterflies with crayolas. The sentiment is by Fiskars.

Lia Stampz: April Showers brings May Flowers

Hello people! I am back with a brand new challenge over at Lia Stampz. This fortnight the theme is “April Showers brings May Flowers” so we want to see projects that portray Showers (rain, bridal shower, baby shower), Spring or Flowers!

This card is not as bright as it looks… it’s radiating light on its own in the photo above! Anyway, I am using Chicky by Lia Stampz and you can win this image if you play with us this week or look for it at Whimsy Stamps.

I love embossing folders, I really do! Whenever someone is coming over here from US, I try my best to buy at least one. The embossing folder used above is my latest purchase, isn't it gorgeous!!?

All flowers are handmade. The image is coloured with Faber Castell classics.

The flower you see above is made with MS classic butterfly punch!

Sentimental Sundays: (B)irthday

Hi everyone! How are you guys doing and how is the weather treating you??

Today I am bringing to you a new challenge over at Sentimental Sundays and the theme this week is Birthdays + use embellishments starting with “B”.

I bought three MS border punches YAY! The one above doesn't punch too well, I think I got a bad piece :(

The tulle-ribbon flower is handmade and I accessorized it with metallic sequins. My embellishment is a BUTTON that I placed at the flower center.

Lia Stampz: For a Special Lady

Hello friends! Hope you are all well. It is TOO hot to craft, way too hot! My cats are suffering the most, I started cutting their hair today after watching them pant all afternoon!

Anyway, I am bit late to post this. The challenge theme this week at Lia Stampz is “Make something for your Mom or a special lady in your life”.

The image I have used is called “Gardening” by Lia Stampz, you can find it at Whimsy Stamps. or enter the challenge to win it!

As you can see my irregular scallops are hand drawn. I designed the pattern paper on Photoshop and stitched around it with a yellow thread. The image is coloured with Classic Faber Castell colour pencils.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have posted two days in a row! I really wanted to play along a couple of my favourite challenges; PDCC and CASE Study.

         

Here is my very CAS card:

Wow, it was really tough to photograph this one!

The letters are Silhouette cut and the heart is hand drawn. I embossed the heart and then coloured over it with a very bright orange marker.

The “awning” sorta thingy was the hardest to figure out and stick! I think I did it wrong, I first made a base and then added two scalloped embossed panels on top of it. I am sure there are easier ways to do this, will google on how this is ACTUALLY done or if you have any suggestions please do share.
