Altenew: Build-A-Flower Gardenia + GIVEAWAY

Hello friends!

I have a colourful floral card to share today featuring the new Build-A-Flower Gardenia.

Another beautiful flower by Altenew!

For my card, I used Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder to emboss my stamps. In addition to the gardenia stamp set, I used Peony Bouquet and Coral Charm stamp sets.

I used liquid watercolours to colour my images.

After they were dry, I die cut them using the coordinating die and placed them in a floral cluster using foam tape.

For my card front I used Woodgrain White sheet with splatters of Mountain Mist Crisp Ink as watercolour.

In the end I popped up the sentiment and added a few sequins for bling.

Studio Katia - 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017

Hello friends!

Welcome to day 11 of the annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017 by Tracey McNeely.

For my tag today I have used the beautiful Merry Poinsettia Stamp Set by Studio Katia and watercoloured it using distress inks.

I stamped the flower twice and layered it on top of another for additional dimension.

The tag's background is also watercoloured with distress inks. Added some lovely Studio Katia Gold Foil sequins for the extra bling.

I like how festive this looks.

Altenew November 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Altenew's November release.

You must be here from Laura Bassen's blog.

I have a full hop list at the end of this post in case you can't find your way.

I will be focusing on two stamp sets today. First up is Forever and a Day Stamp Set and Forever and a Day Die.

This is a beautiful set so I kept my card clean and simple. I heat embossed the stamp in white and adorned it with clear crystals.

Here are a couple of close ups.

Next up is Story of Us Stamp Set.

Again I went with a clean and simple look. Inks that I used for the flower are Sunkissed, Pink Diamond with a hint of Pinkalicious, Orange Creme and Rubellite. For the leaves I used Mountain Mist and Volcano Lake and for my faux stem I used Sand Dunes and Mocha.
