Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have posted two days in a row! I really wanted to play along a couple of my favourite challenges; PDCC and CASE Study.

         

Here is my very CAS card:

Wow, it was really tough to photograph this one!

The letters are Silhouette cut and the heart is hand drawn. I embossed the heart and then coloured over it with a very bright orange marker.

The “awning” sorta thingy was the hardest to figure out and stick! I think I did it wrong, I first made a base and then added two scalloped embossed panels on top of it. I am sure there are easier ways to do this, will google on how this is ACTUALLY done or if you have any suggestions please do share.

Don’t know what is wrong with my cellphone… this card is not as bright as it looks in the picture above.

Sentimental Sundays: Frame IT!

Hello everyone! Sentimental Sundays is challenging you to “Frame it” this week! 

Here is my card.

I have used “Clown Owls” from Pink Cat Studio (our sponsors this week, donating 5 digi images to the winner).

The blue polka dot digi paper is not as bright as it looks, it is a really cute blue.

I designed the sentiment on Photoshop and printed it just before putting this card together.

Beautiful Colours

Hello hello! It is getting hotter over here day by day, can’t complete a card in one sitting. I started this project the day PDCC colour story was posted and it took me a couple of days to complete it. I tried my best to make a flower just like the pink one shown in the inspiration picture below by The Shabby Tea Room.

                       

The box holds this tiny card and some bite size Bounty chocolates. The flower is handmade, distressed with Broken China. The leaf flourish and leaves are Cheery Lynn dyes.

The ribbons and trim are from my stash.

The flowers and sentiment stamp is from the same set by Hero Arts.

Hope you guys like it. The only thing missing here are a couple of butterflies!

Lia Stampz: Easter

Hello everyone. It is time for a brand new challenge at Lia Stampz and the theme this week is Easter.

Umm the green digi freebie paper looks a little more bright than it is in person. This is my first time trying some machine stitching. I need to practice.. I know!! But I am lovin it! it’s fast and doesn't take much time. (even though I am using my nano’s [grams] manual sewing machine)

I used my only lonely border punch to “pretty” up the card (I have to get a couple more for sure, these MS punches are “buttery”!). The image is coloured with Faber Castell’s classic colour pencils and is available at Whimsy Stamps.
