Pinkfresh Studio April Challenge

Hi there everyone!

Pinkfresh Studio's April challenge is live and here is your colour palette/theme:

This is what I made.

For the first time, I went with the theme instead of the colour combination. I used the scrapbooking supplies from the Let Your Heart Decide Collection.

I used ephemera, stickers and stitched frames along with enamel dots to make my card.

I absolutely had a blast putting this together, I had the whole collection out on my bed and came up with quite a few cards in no time.

It is so helpful to have everything ready for you and Pinkfresh Scrapbook Collections have everything you need!!

Birch Press Design Card Set + Video

Hi there everyone!

Today I will be sharing a card set with you featuring products from Birch Press Design.

For my cards today, I have used the Thankful Mandala Stamp Set.

I heat embossed three panels in Antique Gold Embossing Powder.

Next, I used Altenew Brush Markers in Desert Night, Persian Blue and Lagoon.

You can watch the video at the end of this post to watch me colour these.

What I did was I scribbled colours onto the watercolour cardstock in ring form and then spritz the panel very liberally with water. I also used a watercolour brush to move some of the colour around. I set this aside to air dry.

Once the panel was dry, I cut the panel in half and then cut out rings out of it. I then adhered these to the card on different levels of foam tape.

Next, I die cut the Sugar Script You Die in DCWV Gold Glitter Cardstock. I layered this up to make it sturdy. To finish, I heat embossed an accompanying sentiment on a black strip and tucked it under "you".

I followed the same technique to make my second card. I just changed the layout to landscape.

For the sentiment, I used Sugar Script Thanks Die.

To make this gatefold card, I took a 9" x 6" piece of cardstock which I scored at 2.25" and 6.75".

I adhered the half mandalas onto each flap/gate. For the belly band, I took a strip of vellum and wrapped it around loosely, gluing it together at the back.

To finish, I adhered the die cut "Thanks" onto the vellum strip.

Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Altenew has just released the Tropical Fiesta Watercolour Brush Markers and just like the last two times, they are AMAZING!

I usually create artsy cards during the watercolour brush marker releases but I had zero mojo when I was making my card, so I kept it simple, with not much watercolouring involved except for a flower and leaves.

I stamped the flower from the Wallpaper Art Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed it with Crystal Clear Embossing Powder.

I used just the Desert Night Watercolour brush marker on my flower and Lava Rock Watercolour Brush Marker for the leaves.

I also used the Essential Black and White Paper pack, along with the gorgeous Silver Glitter Tape.

Studio Katia New Release Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

I will be sharing two cards with you today. First up is the gorgeous Aloha Stamp Set.

I started by adding a light colour wash to my background using two shades of green. Once that was dry, I added splatters of the same green shades and also that of black watercolour.

Next, I heat embossed the image in Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder and coloured it with Ecoline Watercolours.

Once the watercolour was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut the image and stacked it once for sturdiness.

I heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock with the same embossing powder and arranged both the elements in a way that they fit snuggly.

To finish, I adhered some gorgeous gold confetti.

Next up is the Star Date Stamp Set and the Large Polka Creative Stencil.

I stamped the star and it's eyes three times, separately. I then coloured these in yellow and kept them aside.

For my background panel, I first inked the panel lightly in an aqua shade and then through the Large Polka Stencil, I applied the same ink with a heavier hand to get darker polka dots.

I love how this came out! Looks like a pattern paper.

To finish, I adhered the stars on a piece of string and then to the card front with foam tape. I also applied glossy accents over the stars.

Spellbinders: Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month (March)

Hi, friends!

I am here with a gorgeous project that I love!

I hope that you will as well.

So my project today is a photo album which is 8x10 inches. I made this as a gift for someone's adorable granddaughter.

The cover features the Amazing Paper Grace's Die of the Month for Spellbinders.

I have made handmade flowers and leaves and combined them with some store-bought mulberry flowers. The lacy die gives such a pretty touch to the cover so I chose to go with pastel shades and light colour wash background.

I even made a box for this, again decorating the lid with more gorgeous Spellbinders dies.

I hope you liked my project featuring the beautiful die by Becca Feeken! I absolutely adore her dies and they always make my projects look regal, pretty and feminine!

Altenew March 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil/Ink Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I have a few cards to share with you.

First up is the gorgeous Wall Paper Art Stamp Set.

For this card, I stamped the flowers in Permanent Black Ink And pencil shaded the images using a regular graphite pencil. I also used a blending stump to blend out the pencil shading.

Next, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and before adhering them onto my card front, I first added fine black splatters.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment and adhered black enamel dots from the Green Fields Enamel Dots Set.

Next up is the Rennie Roses Stamp Set.

Do you recognize the gorgeous pattern paper? That is from Live Your Dreams Scrapbook Collection.

I stamped the flowers with Permanent Black Ink and coloured them with Artist Markers.

Again, Rennie Roses Stamp Set and the Shades of Friendship Stamp Set. You can tell I was having fun!

This time I stamped directly on one of the papers from Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection. This paper had a watercolour look with multiple colours so I was able to get a range of colourful stamped images.

I stamped the background creating a graphic, grungy look with the help of Shades of Friendship Stamp Set.

Next up is the Book Club Stamp Set.

Altenew Book Club Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

I stamped the image on Crest Solar White cardstock with Permanent Black Ink and coloured it with Artist Markers.

Again, the Book Club Stamp Set.

For this one, I heat embossed the image in clear embossing powder and then used the Altenew Watercolour Brush Markers to colour the image.

I added a light colour wash of Evening Grey Watercolour Brush Marker to the background and adhered the die cut image with foam tape.
