Isn't this flower just GORGEOUS?!

You will be surprised to read this but I stamped this flower. No watercolor this time. It was JUST SO BEAUTIFUL in all its glory! I had to just use all those layers and all the beautiful shades of inks that Altenew has! 

I usually don't record a video when I am creating stamping projects because it takes me SO LONG to make "stamping" cards. But I set it to record so I could remember the ink names and I ended up recording the entire process. I had so much fun creating this. Can you see the subtle stenciling in the background? I added that at the VERY end because I forgot to add a bit of green to my background watercolour. And if you have watched any of my watercolor videos, you know that I do add a bit of "every color main I am using" to my background to balance it. 

Inks used: Vanilla Cream, Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Sunkissed, Limeade. Lime, Fresh Leaf. Autumn Blaze, Mahogany Bark, Mountain Pine, Shadow Creek, Grass Fields, and Firefly.

I will be sharing several cards that I have created using Altenew Pigment Inks since they first came out. 

 Look at the marvelous things you can do with Pigment Inks on dark cardstock! I used the Summer Afternoon Pigment Inks here. I even applied splatters using the same inks!

For this card, I used the Red Cosmos and Green Fields Pigment Inks. I only used Frosty Pink and Coral Berry from the Red Cosmos family.

I have a video for this coming out on 10/18.

For this card, I used the gorgeous Glacier Caves Ink Bundle!

Another beauty! This time I used the inks as watercolours!

For the card pictured above, I used the Red Cosmos and Glacier Caves Ink Bundle.

Over Navy cardstock, I used the Green Fields Ink Bundle. This one looks different every time I recreate it! 

See, here on the card above the green fields looks different because there is a more leveled emboss area. You should give these ink a try with different embossing folders.

The images Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise images were heat embossed and coloured with the Watercolour Brush Markers by Altenew. 

As you know the Watercolour Brush Markers are intense, bold, and reacts to water beautifully therefore I took full advantage of these qualities to create jewel-toned rainbow flowers. 

You can create these in any colours you want as long as they do not mix to form a muddy grey/brown colour. And even if you choose to use colours that dont mix well, be careful while colouring, and all will be well :)

Altenew Geometry & Nature Stencils Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to Altenew Geometry and Nature Blog Hop!

I have a few cards to share with you. Let's start with this colourful number first.

The card features the Colour Block Triangle Stencil.

I traced some of the portions of the stencil then doodled in a few areas.

Then I used Artists' Watercolour to colour my panel.

 The heart die is from the Halftone Hearts Nested Dies and I have used the Woven Stencil to dry emboss it! 

I have used the Circled Sentiments Stamp Set for my sentiment. Also, I used the Satin Gold Sequins and Gold Thread from the Altenew store.

The card above features the Leaf Bed Stencil that I have used to dry emboss my card panel. I used Industrial Diamond Dye Ink and the  Large Ink Blending Tool on Crest Solar White 80lbs cardstock.

The image is from the Kind Reminders Stamp Set.

The third card features the Castle Motif's Stencil. 

For this, I used Jet Black Dye Ink and the Large Ink Blending Tool on gray cardstock.

For the sentiment, I chose the Simply Thank You Die and used my Artists Markers to colour the panel then die-cut the die out of it. I also used a white layer of the same die-cut as an offset.

I inked the edges a bit with the leftover ink on the tool for interest and drama. And also added glossy accents on the sentiment!

This card features the Mighty Corners Stencil and I just love the look of this stencil.

I coloured the panel with Artists' Watercolour and also used one butterfly from the Mix and Match Mariposa Die Set.

Altenew April 2020 Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Stamping Mat/Sequins Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I will be sharing two cards with you today!

My first card features the gorgeous Mega Bloom Stencil. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it and colour it in! And that is exactly what I did. I inked up the panel in Puffy Heart Dye Ink with a blending brush with a light hand and then used the same ink through the stencil to get a light detail of the stencil design.

Once the design was on the cardstock, I used the Cosmic Berry, Purple Wine, Puffy Heart, Rose Quartz from Artist Markers Set D to colour my image.

For the sentiment, I combined two of these from the Sentiment Strips 2 "Be Strong Be Brave" and stamped it with Obsidian Pigment Ink. This is such a perfect sentiment nowadays and we need to keep telling each other this every single day! 

Next up is another floral card!

This one features the Precious Blooms Stamp Set and it is a layering stamp set but I have used just the outlines and heat embossed it in Antique Gold Embossing Powder.

The colours of Watercolour Brush Markers used are Ruby Red and Rouge for the flowers. And Emerald, Limeade, and Moss for the leaves. The card front is Woodgrain Powder Cardstock. And my card also features the NEWEST Antique Gold Sequins! We have three shades people! And in the most prettiest bottles ever!

I wanted to make something gold, sparkly and of course colourful!

I used Altenew Watercolour Brush Markers to colour the images. I actually have a snippet of how I coloured these images in the video I shared a few days ago. You can check it out HERE.

Whenever I colour images this way, I colour a ton of them because the colouring process is SO EASY and FAST! It's the drying time that takes a while. I let mine dry overnight. I am glad I made these when I was filming, I whipped up this fantastic card in no time.
