Sentimental Sundays: Flowery Springtime

Hello! Long time! I have been absolutely swamped in work and I am so very grateful to God for bringing so much work my way! I thought I’d share another commissioned order of mine and it fits perfectly with the theme over at Sentimental SundaysFlowery Springtime.

I was asked to make a card and it’s coordinating box with huge flowers and bright colours. This was gifted from one short friend to her tall bff! I adore these girls, they are both super talented and awesome people too.

The sentiments were provided by the client. I hope you can see the texture on the card above? I first layered it with texture paste and then splattered water colours and inks.

Hope I have tempt you enough to play along with us at Sentimental Sundays.

Until next time, keep smiling!

Sentimental Sundays: Cards for a Boy/Man

Hello everyone!! I had so much fun making today’s card for a brand new challenge over at Sentimental Sundays. This week our sponsor is QKR Stampede and OMG they have such awesome variety of digi stamps! We are challenging you this week to make cards for Men or Boys in your life.

I am calling my card a one ink wonder! I loved doing the ombre’ effect with just one colour ink and it looks really nice in person. The image by QKR Stampede is called Sleepy Dog and is coloured using Faber Castell classic color pencils.

I hope you like this cutie and if you want to win some images, hop on over to Sentimental Sundays!
