Sentimental Sundays: Clean & Simple

Sentimental Sundays: For a Special Woman

Hello hello everyone! First of, a very happy Mother’s Day to all the mums!

I am back with a brand new challenge over at Sentimental Sundays and this week the theme is “For a Special Woman”. Our sponsor this week is Delicious Doodles and here is the card I made with one of their images.

I pencil shaded the mom and coloured the baby with classic Faber Castell’s colour pencils. I hope you will like it.

All layered up and nowhere to go!

  

Hey everyone! First of, thank you for the comments! They mean the world to me! Today the card that I have to show is based on Cardabilities #74 sketch and inspired by encza. It’s an absolutely inky and heat embossed card.

I have used a LOT of stamps on this one to create the background… from what I can see they are HA, Inkadinkadoo, Prima. The flower (biggest one) is handmade, all the others are punched and treated with inks+embossing.

I have made a matching journal to go with this card which I will post soon

Sentimental Sundays: Paper Piecing

Hello everyone! Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my last post, as promised I will be stopping by your blogs and leaving a lot of love!

Today I have a brand new card to show you and a new to me technique. It’s time for Sentimental Sundays challenge and this week the theme is Paper Piecing!

Here’s my card…

Guess what I tried my hand at?? Colouring without lines!!! MAN! Is it difficult or is it DIFFICULT?! And that too with just regular colour pencils! It was a tough job but SO worth it!

My paper pieced elements are the mushroom heads. I tried to keep rest of the card simple so that all focus is drawn to the image. I hope you like my first attempt at colouring without lines!

Mom, You Rock!

Hey buddies! It is SO HOT here, 40C (104 F) and I feel like I will either melt or blow up! LOL To top it off we have a party tonight as it’s my birthday WOOT! Hopefully we will have AC there.

     

I cut up strips of textured black cardstock to create a stripes background (which I love!), added a bit of punched border, the flower is handmade.

Oh the word “AMMI” is Urdu for MOM.

Stamps used SSS and HA. Die by Spellbinder.
