Altenew March 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to Altenew's March Stamp/Die release hop.

 I have four projects to share with you today. They are all relatively clean and simple so there is not a lot of explaining to do.

My first card uses the following products:

Focus on You Stamp Set

Focus on You Die Set

Sincere Greetings

Dotted Scales Debossing Die

I used the Dotted Scales Debossing Die to die cut a panel, snipped off some portion from the top and adhered plain cardstock there. I covered up the cut line with a strip of light gray cardstock.

I watercoloured my stamp images with these two brush markers I have by Kuretake. They are not zigs. I use them for brush lettering practice.

The sentiment is from Sincere Greetings Stamp Set.

Isn't the pattern just beautiful?

Next up, my second card uses

Dotted Scales Debossing Die

Mega Succulent Stamp Set

On this card I used the Dotted Scales Die as is and added pearls to the connecting points. I glued the pearls more spaced out as I went down the panel.

The sentiment is from Mega Succulent Stamp Set. I heat embossed it on vellum with Pure White Embossing Powder.

Next up is my third card.

On this card I did a little masking and built my border using the stamps from Focus on You Stamp Set. 

I coloured the stamps with Artist Markers and added shadow with a gray pencil.

Now onto my last card.

Product used

Miss You Word Die

Again, I went with a simple design. I cut out Miss You several times to make my own chipboard words. The top most layer was inked with distress inks.

I added white paint splatters to the card front and a strip of washi behind the stamped sentiment. I also covered my die cuts generously with glossy accents.

That is all from my side today, now on to the good stuff.

I have three cards to share with you featuring the Good Vibes Only by Stephanie Low.

I have used liquid watercolours and a distress stain in Crushed Olive for watercolouring.

You can watch the video to see how I made the cards.

This card features the Flowers Whisper Etched Dies.

The sentiments are all from the same stamp set which is a collaboration stamp set between Altenew and Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember. It is called Fabulous You.

The card above features the Petal'd Poetry Etched Dies. I have done some selecting cutting layering on these dies.

The white heat embossing powder is from Altenew.

This card features the Rosy Summer Flowers Etched Dies. Again, I have cut the leaves of one of the flowers and arranged them differently.

I hope you liked the cards. I had so much fun working with Stephanie's dies :)

Studio Katia March Release Day 1

Hello!

Welcome to Studio Katia March Release Blog Hop Day 1.

You should have arrived here from Galachko's blog.

Studio Katia is releasing 9 new Clear Stamp Sets and 5 sets of Coordinating Dies, 4 new stand alone Creative Dies, 2 new Stencils and 12 new Embellishments.

The card that I have to share today will be featuring one of the new stencils, the Mandala.

This is SUCH a gorgeous stencil. I will be sharing just one card today but I have a video that is not ready yet. I will be sharing that on the Studio Katia blog soon.

I made a very simple card. I really wanted to highlight the beautiful pattern of the stencil, so I decided to use gesso and holographic glitter.

I spread the gesso and then sprinkled glitter heavily all over.

Once it was dry, I popped up my sentiment which is from the Label Messages Stamp Set.

I also added a bit of silver string behind the text label. In the end I adhered the beautiful, new Iridescent Bubbles.
