Studio Katia 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello friends!

Studio Katia is celebrating two years with a release blog hop with a lot of friends.

Today is DAY 2 of the hop, you must be here from the uber talented Dana Gong's blog.

I have two cards to share with you today.

Studio Katia Under the Sea | Seashell Shaker | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

For my first card, I have used Under the Sea Stamp Set and Seashell Shaker with lots of glitter and sparkle.

I started by die cutting the shell shape then stamped all of my sea elements. After this, I coloured the images with Prismacolor and die cut them using the coordinating die.

I then prepped my card front where I kept the colour intensity higher where I knew I would place my shell. After my panel was ready, I popped up my shell and all the stamped images with foam tape.

In the end, I added a lot of glitter and iridescent circles. I also used Nuvo shimmer pen on my images and background.

For my second card I used Lovely Blooms Stamp Set.

I started by stamping in such a way as to build a floral border. This I heat embossed in gold.

Then I started watercolouring using distress reinkers.

After I was done watercolouring, I adhered some gold crystals. I used both sides of these crystals, they are like clear diamonds from one side and gold at the other.

In the end I added tons of splatters and popped up the sentiment from Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.

Studio Katia Release Week - Day 3 - Lovely Blooms

Hello!

It's release week over at Studio Katia and I am focusing on the gorgeous floral stamp - Lovely Blooms.

I kept my card very simple. Stamped the image with white ink and then used Prismacolor in white to colour the image to depict chalkboard drawings.

I have been eyeing beautiful chalkboard murals on Pinterest and was inspired by them.

Altenew May 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to another wonderful Altenew release.

My first card features Starry Flowers and Rustic Linen.

I used the Rustic Linen stamp set on my background. I heat embossed it with Translucent Pearl embossing powder. To this I added some watercolour splatters.

I coloured the image with Artist markers and then die cut it using a coordinating die.

Second, Fine Frames Circle and Fine Alphabet Die

This is a die with many possibilities. I used gold foil cardstock to cut out the die several times. I then altered the die cut pieces so they all have different sizes (or number of rings). I wanted the die cuts to mimic records.

After building my background I popped up the die cut words and added some gold confetti.

My third card features the Crown Bloom stamp set.

I heat embossed the flowers in gold and then watercoloured these with distress reinkers.

I die cut the images with coordinating die and popped them on the card front with foam tape.

My last card features the Fabulous Floral Stamp set.

For my card front, I used the woodgrain pattern paper from Our Family Scrapbook collection.

For my flowers I used Shades of Purple and Cherry Blossom ink sets. For the leaves, I used Sweet Dreams ink set.
