Here is what I created for the hop.

I used Artists Alcohol Markers in various colours to colour my image. I cut it out partially and adhered it over a pattern paper from the Essential Rock Collection 6x6 Paper Pack.

For a pop of black, I heat embossed my sentiment.

I love how this turned out! I hope you like it as well.

I have a couple of cards to share with you that I thoroughly enjoyed making, as always :)

This card features the very, VERY beautiful Layered Wood Flower Die Set.

It is gorgeous, huge and OH SO PRETTY!!

If you notice, I have used another new die as a base for my floral arrangement and that is Linear Crossroads Die.

I used the new blue inks, the Northern Shore Crisp Dye Inks to ink up my die-cuts. I know I usually reach for my watercolours, but these colors have my heart! I love the blues in this. I had to use the Northern Shore Inks to make blue flowers!

On Navy Cardstock, I adhered the Just Leaves Die-cuts that I cut out of pretty glitter paper by DCWV. It was a pain. The glossy backing didn't help. I need Simon Says glitter cardstock but I need to use up all these cardstock that I have accumulated over the years and that has been my goal recently.

I have a few cards to share with you.

My first card features the Tranquility Rose Stamp Set.

I used Woodgrain Powder Cardstock as my card front. Added a bit of inking to it. And also some fine black paint splatters. My images are heat embossed in Antique gold Embossing Powder.

I used Artist Markers to color the images.

Again, I used the smaller bunch from the Tranquility Rose Stamp Set to create my background. Used Antique Gold Heat Embossing Powder

I used Artist Markers to colour in the images. Then added tons of gold splatters from the Metallic Watercolour Pan Set.

Used the same image and created this card. Coloured the image with Watercolour Brush markers.

I used the Press n Seal to arrange the hearts and then Halftone Hearts Die to die cut a heart shape.

I added loads of crystals in the spaces that were empty.

I used Artist Markers to colour the You Are Beautiful Stamp.

I fussy cut it and adhered it with foam tape onto a panel ith fine black paint splatters.

For my background, I used the Delicate Polka Dots Washi Tape.

I can not believe that I forgot to share this card! Probably because I made this at the very end.

This features the Angled Mosaic Embossing Folder and it is GORGEOUS!!!

I decided to use it on black and swipe my gold inkpad over it to show you its gorgeous pattern!

I paired this with the Fine Circle Frames Die and Mix and Match Mariposa Die Set.

I love how this turned out!

I have two cards to share with you. 

I did make a video for this, I will put it up on the Altenew YouTube tomorrow! I will mention all the details about the inks I used, and the markers in that post. (this will become active on 11/23 at 9:00 AM EST.0

The reason I created two very similar-looking cards is that the one on the right (see above) was what I had in mind or close to it and the one on the left is what I did after I messed up. 

I started by ink blending on Crest Solar White Cardstock. 

I used Artist Markers to add colour to the flower and leaves.

    

I have been doing this a lot lately, stamping in dye inks, colouring with artist markers and then heat embossing. That is exactly what I did here. Then added splatters a lot of gold and black splatters. 

To finish, I adhered Satin Gold Sequins.

Because I messed up the stamping the first time around, this is the card I saved.

You can find all about it in tomorrow's post.

I added fine splatters on the cream card front and stamped the sentiment brown ink.

Altenew + The Daily Marker Watercolor Therapy Blog Hop & Giveaway

Welcome to The Daily Marker Watercolor Therapy Blog Hop.

I used the Woodless Watercolour Pencils to colour my project today.

I heat embossed the Build-A-Flower: Hawaiian Coral onto 9 x 12 Watercolour cardstock in Pure White Embossing Powder.

Next, I used Rubellite and Lavender Fields Woodless Watercolour Pencil to colour the flower.

For the leaves, I used Limeade and Shadow Creek Pencils.

For my card front, I applied the pigment directly from Shadow Creek and Limeade pencils. 

I do think that the background should have been a tad darker at the extreme top.

Once this was dry, I added splatters of green and then black.

Then I adhered all the images with foam tape.
