Altenew Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I had so much fun creating cards for this hop but when don't I have fun with Altenew releases?!

I doodled outlines onto the ephemera that came with the scrapbook collection.

Then I arranged it and kept it aside. Next, I dew horizontal lines onto my card base and then adhered the ephemera onto the card front and stamped the sentiment.

My second card is a mixed media card where I used Grid Stencil and applied embossing paste. After drying the panel, I added a bit of watercolour and then add Golden Peach Embossing Powder.

It looks so gorgeous in person with all the texture and shimmer.

My last card is also a bit of on the grungy side. 

On this one too, I poured over some Golden Peach Embossing Powder selectively in some places to add some shimmer.

I heat embossed the image in Golden Peach Embossing Powder. Then I inked my panel in Rose Petal Ink shades.

I used the same Rose Petal Artist Alcohol Markers to color my image.

I added some gold and black splatters and two thin strips of glitter cardstock.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Cistus Layering Die Set & Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

My card is quite "clean and simple" considering my style :)

I die-cut my flowers out of Crest Solar White Cardstock for a change.

But I did die-cut my leaves out of  the 9x12 watercolor cardstock and used the Watercolor Brush Markers to color them.

For the flowers, I used Vanilla Cream Dye Ink and the Detailed Blending Brushes to add a bit of inking.

And for my background, I used a couple of colours from the Watercolor Brush Markers.

You must be here from the talented Amanda Baldwin's blog. I am a big fan of hers!

You will see my card and think that I must have spent quite a bit of time colouring these flowers. But in reality, it was the die-cutting that took more time than the colouring!

I used the Altenew Woodless Watercolor Pencils to color these pretties including the background.

Here is a closeup to show you that I messed up die-cutting on one of the flowers but you really can't tell!
