For my card, I have used the gorgeous Magnolia Ballerina Stamp and Stencil Set. This is absolutely huge and gorgeous!! Covers your entire card and then some!

To embellish, I also used the Satin Gold Sequins and splatters of gold paint from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. The thin glitter strip is from the Gilded Glitter Cardstock Pack.

I thoroughly enjoyed colouring this image.

I used the new Tranquility shades from the Space Garden Markers Set and also added a little bit of Pink to it. 

I think one can use these colours for a succulent as well. I love how these look, the image is so gorgeous!

Altenew Dreamy Bouquet Fabric Release Blog Hop

I made a decor piece using the fabric that I could add white die-cuts on. I have always wanted to create this with embroidery hoops but I didn't have the matching chalk paint. Then my order was delayed for both the hoop and the paint. I ended up canceling the orders and went with a DIY version of it. 

What I had in mind was something more elaborate and hopefully, next time I will be able to execute it. I drew a circle on a DHL box that I get my Altenew order in and adhered a white cardstock over it. then I adhered the fabric. To adhere the fabric properly on a circle, you have to make a lot of cuts around the entire edge and then fold + glue them to the backside. Once this base was ready, I worked on die-cutting several of the layering flower dies. I placed everything on the disc to figure out where my splatter would go, this would give me more of a filler effect. Next, after adhering all the flowers and leaves, I added a lot of sequins in clusters. This added SO MUCH sparkle. It looks beautiful in person!

I am quite glad how my card turned out. I opted not to watercolor and follow the ink blending route.

 I used multiple pinks and purple inks for the flowers and loved the result. 

For the leaves and the background, I used Jet Black Dye Ink.

Altenew All Things Handmade Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

The card features the Quaint Blooms Stamp Set and the Coordinating Die. I heat embossed the image on Alchohol Ink Backgrounds Paper Pack and adhered it onto Moon Rock Cardstock. 

Since I was using the same stamp on all my cards, I thought to change them up slightly either by changing the layout, color, or adding something to the design. For this one, I used the Fine Tulle Stencil and applied purple ink through it. What remained constant on all the cards was tons of gold splatter from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and the Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

So much drama! You really don't have to do much if you are using the Alchohol Ink Backgrounds Paper Pack!

Love the colours on this one and they were quite easy to create. Will be faster to put together if I didn't add all that Instant Dimension Foam Tape! The sentiment is from the You are Everything Stamp Set.

This turned out SO GOOD!! It looks amazing in person! I had never used the Geo Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and really wanted to use it. Looks great, doesn't it?!

Do you spot the mistake I made here? I actually forgot to stamp the outline for the leaves. It had been bugging me ALL THE TIME what was I missing?! And it wasn't until I submitted the project photos that realized that I didn't stamp the outline of the leaves!

I stamped the outline and one of the detailed layers for the flowers. Then I used the Woodless Coloring Pencils to add details to the flower image. I love how it turned out. I actually googled the image and copied how the purple Narcissus flowers look.
