Altenew Love & Friendship Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I will be sharing a few projects but will try to keep the post precise.

The card above features the Fresh Cut Roses Stamp Set.

I used Watercolour Brush Markers to colour the panel.

I will be sharing a tutorial for this (using different a different colour palette) in my upcoming Altenew Academy class :)

My second card features two products; the Queen Anemone Stamp and the Slim Deco Cover Die Set.

I used the Tea Party and Coffee Break inks for my images.

For the card above, I heat embossed the outline image from the  Queen Anemone Stamp in Antique Gold Embossing Powder on Navy Cardstock. I used the coordianting dies to die-cut the images and adhere them onto another panel of Navy Cardstock. I also added gold splatters from the Metallic Watercolour 14 Pan Set. 

For my card base, I adhered a cream coloured panel to it which I dry embossed using the Organic Line 3D Embossing Folder. I also inked a embossed panel a little to make the embossing a little more obvious for photos.

I used the Modern Birthday Faux Letterpress Debossing Folder on black cardstock. Next I used the Antique Gold Pigment Ink Pad and swiped it over the panel. The ink highlighted the embossed area and gave a very grungy look to the panel. I love the look.

I thought I'd add some pennants to it and make it a perfect birthday card. These gold foil triangles are leftover from the Layered Snowflake Cover Die B.

The card above is super simple. I adhered several washi tapes including the new Foiled Marble Washi Tape.

Heat embossed the images, die-cut them and adhered it to the panel. Heat embossed the sentiment and finished it off with a few Antique Gold Sequins.

I used the Angled Mosaic Embossing Folder on the top portion of the tag. The Tag was die-cut from the Terrific Tags Die Set. Then I adered the Red Sunset Slim Washi Tapes horizontally and adhered the Tall Alpha Lowecase Die.

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Camellia Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I coloured the images in Artists Alcohol Markers in various shades. I mixed pinks and purples to get a very different look for my flowers. 

I also mixed greens from different colour families to get a unique tropical colour tone for my leaves.

I fussy cut the panel and then added some watercolor to it. Since my alcohol markers shades were custom made, I had to mix a couple of greens to get the perfect colour for the background. 

Because the Altenew colour families are the same throughout their product line, it was very easy to replicate the same custom colour shade.

Next, I added watercolour to my base as well so that it would match the top portion. I did add some stamping on this panel as well for a more continuous, flowy look of the floral design.

I did not use a watercolour cardstock for this purpose so I was very careful while watercolouring.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Morning Glory Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I die-cut all the pieces out of the 9x12 Watercolor Cardstock by Altenew. 

I used a mix of Essential 12 Pan Set and Artist Watercolour Pan Set to colour them.

I actually found this particular shade of Morning Glories why I was googling their photos. I wanted to do something other than blue as I have done that previously. 

I found the photo above and just changed the colours of the leaves to make it my own :)

I used the same colours to color the background too!

Altenew Fresh Start Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I used the Vintage Garden Stamp & Die & Coloring Stencil Bundle to create quite a few images using Jet Black Mixed Media Ink, Magenta, and Pastel Sunrise Dye Inks. I was having so much fun hence the three cards.

For my slimline card, I started by ink blending Magenta Dye Ink mainly through the Vintage Garden Colouring Stencil. In some areas, I added a bit of Pastel Sunrise and it added such a cool look to the image!

Once I was done, I stamped the outline image in Obsidian Ink. 

For my background, I used 9 x 12 Watercolor Cardstock by Altenew. Which is quite textured, as you can see. I coloured my panel with the same colour inks. Then I added a few black paint splatters.

After adhering the stamps, I stamped the sentiment. 

I do have a video for these three cards I made but I had no time to edit it. How do you guys find the time to create videos and upload them for each project you make? I do shoot them, but they are left in my laptop collecting dust :/

For my second card, I used only Magenta Dye ink on the flower and  Jet Black Mixed Media Ink  on the leaves. I applied the black ink with a light touch so that it appeared more ombre than one solid colour.

For my background, I used the A2 Watercolour Cardstock by Altenew and the Jet Black Watercolour Brush Marker to create a dramatic look. 

The sentiment is from the Block Sentiments Stamp Set.

Again, I used the colouring stencil and only Jet Black Mixed Media Ink to colour. In some places, I tried to use a light touch for a shaded effect.

On A2 Watercolour Cardstock, I heat embossed the image in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. I then used the Watercolour Brush Markers to colour the images. 

I also added a lot of gold and black paint splatters.

The images Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise images were heat embossed and coloured with the Watercolour Brush Markers by Altenew. 

As you know the Watercolour Brush Markers are intense, bold, and reacts to water beautifully therefore I took full advantage of these qualities to create jewel-toned rainbow flowers. 

You can create these in any colours you want as long as they do not mix to form a muddy grey/brown colour. And even if you choose to use colours that dont mix well, be careful while colouring, and all will be well :)
