Altenew NEW Sweet Moments Collection Release Blog Hop

Both my cards feature the same stamp set but I have used different materials to color the images.

The stamp featured is called the Happy Petals Stamp Set and it also has a coordinating die with it. I also shot the video for both these cards, it is quite easy to make these so I was thinking I will share them together in one video if you would like to see it! 

The image is heat embossed and colored with Artist Alcohol Markers. To add a bit of interest to the background, I also added a little ink blending and created an ombre look. It does look really nice and adds quite a touch to the image!

This one has a softer look and is the complete opposite of the first dramatic card I shared. This could make a pretty card to give at someone's wedding or for mother's day, just change the sentiment :)

I heat embossed and colored the image on vellum this time and again, used the same markers for this too.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Queen of the Lilies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Isn't this flower just GORGEOUS?!

You will be surprised to read this but I stamped this flower. No watercolor this time. It was JUST SO BEAUTIFUL in all its glory! I had to just use all those layers and all the beautiful shades of inks that Altenew has! 

I usually don't record a video when I am creating stamping projects because it takes me SO LONG to make "stamping" cards. But I set it to record so I could remember the ink names and I ended up recording the entire process. I had so much fun creating this. The video will go live on Monday, December 6th, 2021 9:00 am EST HERE.

Can you see the subtle stenciling in the background? I added that at the VERY end because I forgot to add a bit of green to my background watercolour. And if you have watched any of my watercolor videos, you know that I do add a bit of "every color main I am using" to my background to balance it. 

Inks used: Vanilla Cream, Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Sunkissed, Limeade. Lime, Fresh Leaf. Autumn Blaze, Mahogany Bark, Mountain Pine, Shadow Creek, Grass Fields, and Firefly.

Altenew Glint & Glimmer Hot Foil Plates, Embossing Folders and Stencils Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Welcome to Altenew's Glint & Glimmer Release.

My first card features the new inks Rhodolite, Red Jasper, and Raw Amber Crisp Dye Inks.

I used Jet Black Pigment Ink by Altenew and their very awesome blending brushes to apply the ink through the Anemone Branch Layering Stencil. 

The stencil shifted while I was inking, so the layout is a bit off. But instead of starting with a new panel or cutting it off and loosing all that gorgeous ink blended cardstock, I decided to let it be.

The second card features the Clematis Jingle Bells 3D embossing folder and the other three inks; Green Opal, Green Onyx, and Tanzanite Crisp Dye Inks.

I embossed the panel and then used the Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink to swipe over the raised edges. It gave me such a gorgeous result. Ten I added tons of splatters from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set.
