Altenew Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Hello and welcome to the Altenew Stamp and Die release for March.
You must be here from the Altenew blog.
I have three projects to share with you today.

Altenew Springtime Azalea and Family Matters Stamp Set pencil colored using Prismacolors by @pr0digy0

For my first card I used the beautiful Springtime Azalea and Family Matters stamp sets. As always, Altenew has made beautiful layered floral stamps but for my card I only used the outline stamp. I used Blush crisp ink for the flowers and Frayed Leaf crisp ink for my leaves and coloured the image using Primacolors.
The sentiment is from Family Matters stamp set.

The flower center was stamped with Cosmic Berry crisp ink.
I also added a few splatters of Frosty Pink Metallic Ink Spray to my card front along with some black watercolour.
Though this is coloured directly on the one layer card but I like how dimensional it looks because of the shading.
Prismacolor pinks used: 1018,928 and 929 were the main colours the rest I added for shading 195,1031,930,1081

On to my second card.

Altenew Hug Me Stamp Set pencil coloured using Classic Faber Castell pencils and Altenew crisp inks by @pr0digy0

This is such a fun set with many possibilities! The Hug Me stamp set has quite a few hand drawn foxes and sentiments.
For my card I used Ruby Red, Caramel Toffee, Warm Sunshine, Bamboo and Volcano Lake Crisp Inks to create my rainbow "Hug Me" and then die cut the image with a coordinating die.

I used glossy accents on my rainbow "Hug Me" for the extra boost of colour.
The black hearts are from something special which will be revealed soon *wink wink*.

I don't know if you noticed but I used the Halftone Stencil to emboss my card front!
Now on to my final card.

Altenew Layered Cupcake no line watercoloring using Gansai Tambi watercolours and Altenew Metallic Ink Spray by @pr0digy0

I used the Layered Cupcake stamp set to create this vintage watercolour look.
I stamped the cupcake using Warm Sunshine Crisp Ink
I made the lemon slice by partially stamping one of the circles in the stamp set and then added details to it with my brush and watercolour to make it look like a lemon slice.

For the base I watercoloured some stripes using Gansai Tambi watercolour and diluted Warm Sunshine Metallic Ink Spray. Added a few flicks of the same to my card front as well.

I hope you liked what I had to share today. I tried my best to have a variety in my projects.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Camellia Release

Altenew Camellia Build-A-Flower pencil colored using Prismacolor pencils by @pr0digy0
Hello all!
So happy you stopped by my blog today!
I wanted to thank you all for the wonderful and encouraging comments you have been leaving for me. Thank you very much!
Altenew has released this gorgeous Camellia flower and die set and I used it on two cards today.

First off is my pencil coloured version of it.

I recently bought Prismacolor pencils, I am still learning how to use them. I shared a card over at Altenew blog yesterday and that was my first time using these pencils. Today is my second try and though the flowers look gorgeous, I don't enjoy colouring with them very much. I love my Faber Castell kids pack more :p

I did a bit of masking to add leaves and one of the flowers (the partial one at the top). This is a big flower, you will love it!
For my card background I kept the pencil pressure very low because I wanted the texture of the paper to show up and vice versa for the flowers and leaves.

Here is my second card, which is simpler.

I did a bit of masking to create my main panel. This flower is so gorgeous that it works well even without adding colour to it.

That is all from my side.If you just happen to stop by my blog, make sure to hop on over to Altenew for a chance to win $30 gift certificate. They will be drawing three winners from all the comments left on THIS post.

Thanks for stopping by!
