I have a messy watercolour card to share with you today. I used Watercolour Brush Markers to colour the images today.

The colours I used for the flower were Purple Wine, Persian Blue, and Turquoise Watercolour brush markers.

For the leaves, I used Limeade, Lime and Emerald brush markers.

For my background, I used the 36 pan watercolour set by matching the colours of the flowers.

Pinkfresh Studio April Challenge

Hi there everyone!

Pinkfresh Studio's April challenge is live and here is your colour palette/theme:

This is what I made.

For the first time, I went with the theme instead of the colour combination. I used the scrapbooking supplies from the Let Your Heart Decide Collection.

I used ephemera, stickers and stitched frames along with enamel dots to make my card.

I absolutely had a blast putting this together, I had the whole collection out on my bed and came up with quite a few cards in no time.

It is so helpful to have everything ready for you and Pinkfresh Scrapbook Collections have everything you need!!

Birch Press Design Card Set + Video

Hi there everyone!

Today I will be sharing a card set with you featuring products from Birch Press Design.

For my cards today, I have used the Thankful Mandala Stamp Set.

I heat embossed three panels in Antique Gold Embossing Powder.

Next, I used Altenew Brush Markers in Desert Night, Persian Blue and Lagoon.

You can watch the video at the end of this post to watch me colour these.

What I did was I scribbled colours onto the watercolour cardstock in ring form and then spritz the panel very liberally with water. I also used a watercolour brush to move some of the colour around. I set this aside to air dry.

Once the panel was dry, I cut the panel in half and then cut out rings out of it. I then adhered these to the card on different levels of foam tape.

Next, I die cut the Sugar Script You Die in DCWV Gold Glitter Cardstock. I layered this up to make it sturdy. To finish, I heat embossed an accompanying sentiment on a black strip and tucked it under "you".

I followed the same technique to make my second card. I just changed the layout to landscape.

For the sentiment, I used Sugar Script Thanks Die.

To make this gatefold card, I took a 9" x 6" piece of cardstock which I scored at 2.25" and 6.75".

I adhered the half mandalas onto each flap/gate. For the belly band, I took a strip of vellum and wrapped it around loosely, gluing it together at the back.

To finish, I adhered the die cut "Thanks" onto the vellum strip.

I hope you liked my cards. I loved creating them and had tons of fun too!

Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Altenew has just released the Tropical Fiesta Watercolour Brush Markers and just like the last two times, they are AMAZING!

I usually create artsy cards during the watercolour brush marker releases but I had zero mojo when I was making my card, so I kept it simple, with not much watercolouring involved except for a flower and leaves.

I stamped the flower from the Wallpaper Art Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed it with Crystal Clear Embossing Powder.

I used just the Desert Night Watercolour brush marker on my flower and Lava Rock Watercolour Brush Marker for the leaves.

I also used the Essential Black and White Paper pack, along with the gorgeous Silver Glitter Tape.
