Sentimental Sundays: Lace and Pearls

25022012775

Hello hello!

This week at Sentimental Sundays we have a theme of Pearls and Lace for you. Our sponsor this week is Saturated Canary. I wasn’t able to use one of her gorgeous images (as always I was late in requesting a digi) but I managed to make a card without any image.

I finally got my Distress Inks! YAY!! I used antique linen to distress the embossed background. The flower is handmade, it’s just a rough hand drawn design coloured with distress inks. The leaves are CB die.

Ooh I added some Pie Lane goodness, these tiny beauties are glitter gems in Ochre.

25022012777 Added a few diamantes on the lace flowers.

That’s it from my side. Do join us at Sentimental Sundays and remember, create whatever you want… we just ask you to have a SENTIMENT on it and ofcourse, follow the theme!

Supplies: stamps: Fiskars; Embellishments: Pie Lane glitter gems;Inks: Distress Inks in wild honey, mustard seed, crushed olive, peeled paint; Embossing Folder: CB Textile Texture.Everything else from stash

Challenges: Mark’s finest papers, Di’s digi designs, Hiding in my craft room, little claire’s designs,

I really like the layout of this card, and together with all the different elements and colours I think the result is an interesting and pleasant card.
