I solemnly swear I love All Things Teresa Collins!

IMG_2068
Hello everyone! Today I have something very different to show you. I made a journal! The one I am showing you is my second journal, the first one had really crappy binding (we don’t get good book rings here and I spiral bind it myself) so I thought I’d show you a better version before the other one.
I used half of the Carolina Breeze papers for this one (remaining half I am saving for another journal! *wink*). I did use DCWV as a front page only because I didn’t want to waste TC’s gorgeous designs by gluing the other beautiful side! And I also used bits of American Crafts Christmas cardstock (glittered)
Sooo here you go!

Handmade flower – from scratch! Faux epoxy on swirls, frame is Silhouette cut.

I had no stamp that said “Forever” so used my dad’s mini alpha stamps instead, I think it looks okay?

Left page has a pocket and 3 tags. The tags are stamped, journaling area/photo mat provided behind the tags.
The right page has a photo mat with glittery butterflies.

Here you can see the journaling/ photo mat area and the tags too! I so wish I had more sentiment stamps, next on my list is to get Teresa Collin’s stamp maker!

What you see on the left hand side is a handmade medallion with a button center, this page is a peekaboo page of sorts and on the right there is a pocket with two tags.

The scallops are hand cut.

In the above picture, the right hand side page is a flap and opens up to reveal a photo mat and journaling area.

I hope you guys liked it! I for one am loving these journals and making them is SO fun! The best part is that Teresa Collins’ papers are so sturdy and textured that you don’t need extra layering to give them body. I have my eyes on a couple more of her collections and people you have been with me forever now and you know I have never ever gone crazy after designer paper brand because they all are so beautiful but this... THIS.I.LOVE!
much love, keep crafting!
