Altenew March Release Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Hello and welcome to Altenew March Release Blog Hop!

This time Altenew will be releasing 7 stencils, 12 ink sprays (metallic), 13 new colours in cardstock and 7 coloured envelopes!

PHEW that is A LOT of awesome new stuff!

I feel weird that I have just one project to share with you. Unfortunately I had very little time on my hands. Here is what I made.

I can't believe I made a pretty card!

I mean I love my bold, grungy watercolour look but this one looks so pretty and "clean" LOL

I have used Beautiful Day and Halftone Hello stamp sets for my card along with the new stencil (Sketched Lines) and ink spray.

I used the beautiful Frosty Pink metallic ink spray as my watercolour for my flower!

Doesn't it look beautiful?!

It has a gorgeous shimmer and whats amazing about these sprays is that the shimmer doesn't stick to the base. I mean it does a bit but just a couple of shakes and its all mixed beautifully. You don't have to keep on shaking the bottle like a lunatic to get all the shimmer to mix with the liquid part.

This shot above is an odd one but I had to take it an angle to show off the shimmer.

The gorgeous sequins that I have used are from Dress My Craft.

Oh my gosh, I am trying not to drool all over my computer while looking at your pretty flower. I love the shimmer! Can you imagine how sparkly and shiny a card would look with both? Wow, just like your card, except for the glitter. Your card is exquisite! I really love the colors you used, 2 colors I never would have put together for a flower card. In fact, I want to print your card picture out so I can do a card in those colors, which I'm sure I have. Then when I win this thing, I can get the spray and do what you did. It's a win/win for me! I think that by keeping the rest of the card to various shaded of grey really looks fantastic, the stencil adds just enough interest while still allowing the beautiful flower to shine.
