We are sending out cards to the elderly that live in nursing homes or shelters to let them know we care.

Let's start with the cards!
This is my favourite card! LOOK at that blue and all the awesome images!
I used the Best Dad stamp set for my card. All the pieces have been diecut using the coordinating die (thank God I had the dies! )
The images have been coloured using Prismacolors. For the background I used distress stains.
I also added glossy accents to all the "Blue" parts.
Here is another view.
I made another card using the same stamp set.
For this card I repeatedly stamped the Best Dad mug with versamark and heat embossed it in white.
I then did the smooshing technique. I didn't stop with the smooshing.
I went in again with the distress stains to colour my mugs so that they would stand out more.
This looks super grungy and really fun.
I diecut the word "DAD" using Bold Alphabet Die Set four times, layered them up and added glossy accents to it. I also diecut some stars that are part of this stamp set.
Now it's mum's turn!
Most of you know by now I do love to add silver and gold any chance I get and black and gold combination is my go to choice for everything!
So I decided to make a black & gold card for a classy mum.
I repeatedly stamped the Best Mom floral vine to build my background in versamark and gold heat embossed it.
This looks SO GOOD in person, it didnt come out great in photos though.
The "Mum" is die cut out of Bold Alphabet using Gold Mirror cardstock. I layered it four times to make them into chipboard alphas.
The gold glitter border you see is the Glitter Tape.
I added some gold splatters to my card base.
I also added tiny cup sequins as my flower centers!
Can you see them? They look so pretty!
On to my last card for today.
For my last mum's card I heat embossed the Penned Rose stamp set on watercolour paper.
After watercolouring I die cut all the pieces using the coordinating die for this set.
For my front panel I added some black paint splatters and stamped my sentiment before placing the floral arrangement.
I have popped up all the die cut pieces on different levels to add interest and more dimension.
The thin silver glitter border you see is the Glitter Tape.

I thought I needed that rose stamp, and now I KNOW it! Your watercolor is so soft and lovely. I have never had the nerve to create a card based primarily on heat embossing (still learning that skill) but yours is gorgeous. If the photos don't do it justice, I can't even imagine what it must really look like. I love the gold sequins as the flower centers. (This stamp is also on my list!) AND...the bold blue with black on the Fathers' Day card is very striking. All in all, you hit this one out of the park! Thanks.
