We have a new flower for you! It's the gorgeous and HUGE Poinsettia!
What perfect timing, just in time for your Christmas cards.
My base is one layered. I added some cooler and warmer greens to make a watercoloured background to place the flower on.
For the flower, I stamped it twice using Versamak and then heat embossed the images with Antique Gold Crisp Embossing powder. I fussy cut the flowers and layered them on top of another.
I also added a few leafy vines from the Golden Garden stamp set.
The layering of two flowers gives it a totally new look.
Everything was watercoloured with distress inks.
In the end I added some BRILLIANT sequins by Studio Katia. These ones are Crystal Clear Fusion.

Your card is absolutely stunning! To tell you the truth I was not totally enamoured with the stamp when I first saw it but you have completely changed my mind. The addition of the second stamping of the poinsettia brings such life and balance. Outstanding...
