Altenew January 2018 Release Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Hello friends!
Welcome to another totally AMAZEBALLS release!
You must be here from the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

I will be highlighting the Creative Edges: Lace Die and Thinking of You Die in my post today.

Altenew Creative Edges: Lace Die | Little one Stamp and Die Set | Sentiment and Quotes Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

The second I saw this die, I kneeew I had to create this background or a panel.
I have had this idea for a while now and was waiting for the right moment.

Altenew Creative Edges: Lace Die | Little one Stamp and Die Set | Sentiment and Quotes Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

I die cut the lace edge several times in white. I then inked my laces in the Cherry Blossom shades starting from (top to bottom) Razzleberry, Rubellite, Pinkalicious and Pink Diamond.

Altenew Creative Edges: Lace Die | Little one Stamp and Die Set | Sentiment and Quotes Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

The baby onesie is from Little One stamp and die set and the sentiment is from Sentiments & Quotes.
The pink heart is an enamel dot from The New Day Card Kit. You can also purchase the enamel dots separately HERE.

Altenew Thinking of You die | Frosted Garden Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

I kept this one simple. This die is big and absolutely WONDERFUL!
I love big word dies! I kept my background simple watercoloured using Lagoon and Parrot Crisp Inks.

Altenew Thinking of You die | Frosted Garden Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

I layered my die cut a couple of times and then used a silver mirror off set.

Altenew Thinking of You die | Frosted Garden Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

You can see the silver more clearly in this photo.

Altenew Thinking of You die | Frosted Garden Stamp Set | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

The sentiment "sweet friend" is from Frosted Garden Stamp Set and is heat embossed with Pure White Embossing Powder. In the end I added beautiful Studio Katia Majestic Fusion sequins.

Unknown said...

Hi Erum,

Love the two card designs, so different both of them. Firstly the lacy one, what a lovely way to set off the tiny baby suit for a new baby card. Beautiful hombre effect with the different coloured inks.

Then the second, wow I love large sentiments. This one looks particular fantastic on the watercolour background but what I particular love is that you have put a silver die cut of the sentiment underneath. I usually put one on the top, I definitely am going to try this out next card I do with a large sentiment.

Thank you for your inspiration. :O)

Andre M. said...
