Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi, there everyone!
Welcome to Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Release.
You must be here from Vicky Papaioannou's blog.

If you just happen to stop by, start from the Altenew blog.

I have a grungy card to share with you.

I die-cut the flowers out of 9x12 watercolour cardstock. Next, I used Cotton Candy and Cosmic Berry from the 36 Pan Watercolour Set to colour the flowers. For leaves, I used Evergreen.

To make the background, I used the A2 Watercolour cardstock and applied watercolor using Espresso Watercolour.
The stamp used on the background is Shades of Love, which I heat embossed using Antique Gold Embossing Powder.
To add more sparkle, I added white and gold paint splatters from the Metallic Watercolour Set.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners!
Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win.

Altenew will also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below.

All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 08/14/2020.

I hope you liked the card!

I might make a process video soon of something similar for the Altenew YouTube channel.

Thank you for stopping by!

The next stop on the hop is

MINDY EGGEN.

Funny how the daisy can make the leap from simple white, to in your face grungy style. Lovely.

That is a gorgeous card. Love every little detail of it. From beautiful colors, the gold embossing on the background and the splatters. The soft watercolored flowers stand out beautifully over the dark background.

Erum, this card has a wonderful eclectic/collage feel that i like to aim for, but almost never achieve. Thank you for telling the "secret recipe" to get that look! The flowers are crisp and pretty atop the background. keeping the flowers "ungrungy" is a refreshing choice and works great with your design---- I need to learn boldness in combining things I haven't tried together in the past. thank you very much!
