Altenew Beauty of the Season Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello!

You must be here from Laura Bassen's blog.

Welcome to Altenew September 2020 Release Hop.

I made quite a few projects to share for this hop but unfortunately, the photos didn't come out right so I will be sharing just two projects with you. Even these photos I thought were pretty dark but I couldn't take photos outside as it was raining heavily those days.

My first card features the Kind Reminders Stamp Set. I will be doing a stamp focus for this stamp soon on the Altenew blog. Do keep an eye out.

Altenew Kind Reminders | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

I started by stamping the image in Permanent Black Ink. Next, I used the Kind Reminders Simple Colouring Stencil to color the image using inks from Coffee Break And Rock Collection.

How easy is colouring through these colouring stencils?! WOW. I was blown away!

Next, I took a piece of Woodgrain Powder Cardstock and cut it out into a circle. I used one of the coffee inks to completely ink it dark brown.
I used the same Woodgrain Powder Cardstock for the card front, this time, in its original colour. Then I added a few fine black splatters. And next, I adhered the circle with foam tape and set this slightly off the edge. I snipped off the excess part of the circle.

I popped up the image over the circle base with foam tape. Then added the sentiments and Satin Gold Sequins.
I did go back in to add details with matching Artist Markers. GAH! I couldn't stop myself!

My next card features the Mega Hello Debossing Folder.

Altenew Mega Hello Debossing Folder | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0

This is such a perfect debossing folder to have if you are one who likes to whip up a quick card!

I ran the Woodgrain Powder Cardstock with the folder through my die-cutting machine and viola! That was it basically. But I thought I would add a little bit of me to this by inking up the panel slightly to make the "hello" a bit more prominent (for the photos).
I used leftover ink from the project the I shared first and lightly inked the panel.
Then I added a second sentiment and a tiny heart from the Green Fields Enamel Dots.

I think the Woodgrain Powder Cardstock did enhance the look even more. I am on my last sheet of this cardstock! YIKES! Need to get this ASAP.

I had a couple more cards featuring the Positive Vibes Stamp Set too and more inspiration using the Kind Reminders Set, but I think I will share them some other time when I will be able to take better photos.

Prizes!

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog by 9/15/2020 for a chance to win.

As always, love your cards. I loved seeing your use of what could be considered non-traditional colors on the floral card---gorgeous and has inspired me to try more unusual color combinations. The HELLO card is a perfect example of how to create a simple card with big impact--love it.
