Hello and welcome to the Paint-A-Flower: Camellia Waterhouse Release Blog Hop.
You must be here from Mindy Eggen's blog.
I have two projects to share with you.
First up is a card with a heavy mixed media background. I always have fun making this type of project. I also filmed the process and if there is interest, I'd love to share.
It mostly requires, embossing paste, embossing powder, and a lot of watercolour :)
For the image, I colored the flowers a bit differently this time. I gave them a look as if they were painted using acrylics but in reality, I only just used the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set!
For this one, I used the new Brush and Fine Tip pens by Altenew. And the video for this is coming up on Monday the 24th of January at 9:00 am EST on the Altenew Youtube channel.
$200
in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 01/28/2022 for a chance to win.
Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop
and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 01/30/2022.
The next stop on the hop is Colleen Balija.

Oh my gosh how beautiful! Unbelievable my goal is to learn how to make something that comes out looking like that. I'm fairly new to this and I have a great appreciation for artists that can do work like this. Stunningly beautiful!
Wow these are absolutely stunning designs you have created here! Thank for sharing!
Both are gorgeous cards however the mixed media card caught my eye. And yes, would love to see that process video. Thanks for sharing the inspiration and your lovely pieces.
Your first card makes me think of a modern version of a Victorian era card. They’re both lovely.
Very colorful, looks like it took a lot of time! Gorgeous!
