Altenew & Ellen Hutson UWF Poppy Field Blog Hop

Altenew & Ellen Hutson UWF Poppy Field pencil coloured with Prismacolors by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
Hello!
Welcome to Altenew & Ellen Hutson United We Flourish Poppy Field Blog Hop.
You must be here from the awesome Lydia 's blog.
I have a complete hop list at the end of this post in case you lose your way.

I made a super CAS card for this hop. I stamped the images from Poppy Field stamp set in Alenew Permanent Black Ink and pencil coloured the images with Prismacolors.

ETA: I apologize for not mentioning this earlier but I stamped the images directly onto Altenew Pale Gray Cardstock. I did add a bit of shading around the images with a couple of gray pencils. Please know this is not a colouring cardstock hence the white spots in the closeup photo.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Rose

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Rose. Card by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
Hello friends!
It's time for a new Build-A-Flower and this time our flower is the beautiful Rose.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Rose. Card by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
I used Altenew crisp inks in Coffee Break to stamp my layered roses and leaves.
This looks so gorgeous. I am someone who isn't great at stamping layers and it was quite easy for me so it should be a piece of cake for all you terrific stampers out there.
I also added a little bit of pencil shading.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Rose. Card by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
The stamp set has beautiful sentiments too. I stamped mine on a strip of cardstock and layered it with champagne coloured glitter cardstock. In the end I added a few beautiful sequins by Studio Katia.

I hope you like my card!
You should hop on over to the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win one of THREE $30 gift certificates.

That is all for today. Thank you for sopping by.

The coordinating die for this set has a few extra dies to cut out faces in the pumpkins! How cool is that?! I didnt use them here because I wanted the kitty to take the center stage here.

Fall + Winter Release Preview - Merry Poinsettia

Studio Katia Merry Poinsettia no line watercolouring using distress inks by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
Hello everyone!
It's preview week over at the Studio Katia blog and I am showcasing Merry Poinsettia Stamp Set today for day 3.

All the stamps and dies showcased during the previews will be released on September 15th.
We will have a blog hop with a prize on every stop so save the date!

Studio Katia Merry Poinsettia no line watercolouring using distress inks by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
Isn't it just a beautiful stamp set?! And you get THREE flowers with beautiful sentiment stamps.
I stamped the single flower from the Marry Poinsettia Stamp Set using Spun Sugar Distress Ink since I was going for a no-line watercolour look. I used several red distress inks to colour my flower. After I was done with the flower, I stamped several leaves with Shabby Shutters Distress ink and watercoloured them with random green distress inks.

For my card front, I embossed my panel using Papertrey Ink Embossing Plate then popped on Dotted Shaker Tag - 2 using foam tape. I then die cut my flowers and leaves using the coordinating dies for the Merry Poinsettia Stamp Set and arranged them on to the Dotted Shaker Tag - 2.
In the end I die cut the word "Merry" which is from the Merry Poinsettia coordinating die set in silver and glued it on the tag.

For some bling I added some beautiful Majestic Fusion Sequin Mix and for pop of colour I added some home made enamel dots in red.
You can check out more samples with this same stamp set by clicking HERE.
That is all from my side. I hope you like my card. I am quite pleased with how velvety the Poinsettia looks :)
Have an awesome day.

Altenew August 2017 Release Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaway

Hello friends!
You are at the last stop on Day 2 of Altenew August Release Blog Hop.
You must be here from Kimberly Crawford's blog.
Apart from the stamps and dies, Altenew is also releasing storage pouches this month which are absolutely brilliant! There are nothing like the ones I have and believe me I have tried a lot of storage pockets. These are the best.
I have SIX cards to share with you so without further ado lets get started.

Altenew Striped Leaves Cover Die | More Than Words Stamp Set. Card by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0

I chose to make a simple yet elegant card which would work for both sexes in black, gold and offwhite.

Altenew Striped Leaves Cover Die | More Than Words Stamp Set. Card by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0

I added a bit of foil onto my black pieces of die cut so that they don't stand out a lot.
This is one of my favourite among all the cards I made for this release.

Altenew Charmed Stamp Set + Artist Markers. Card by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0

This is a beautiful stamp set. I stamped the floral stamp repeatedly onto Sea Glass cardstock and heat embossed it using Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.
I coloured in the flowers and leaves using the entire blue range of the artist markers and coloured the flower centers with black artist marker.

Altenew Sweet Friend Stamp & Die Set and Amazing You stamp set watercoloured by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0
Products: Sweet Friend Stamp and Die Set

I heat embossed the frame twice and several flowers from the Amazing You stamp set.
I layered the floral part of the frame and added flowers from the Amazing You stamp set to continue the floral design.

Altenew Eid Mubarak die and Eid-ul-Adha stamp set. Card by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0

For my background I used several distress inks and then stamped an image from Eid-ul-Adha stamp set with versamark ink. I used the Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder to emboss it.
The Eid Mubarak die has been die cut from Gold Foil cardstock.

Altenew Point It Out stamp set | Speech Bubbles stamp set. Card byErum Tasneem - @pr0digy0

This is a fun card! I used Point It Out and Speech Bubbles to form a text.
Inks used; Coral Berry, Volcano Lake, Orange Cream, Parrot and Maple Yellow.

Altenew Halftone Hearts Nesting Diet Set | Point It out | Circled Sentiments | Basic Borders. Card by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0
Inks: Ruby RedParrot

For my background I did something I have previously done on a layout. Here I drew some horizontal lines and used Basic Borders stamp set to build my design.
After that I took out a couple of elements from the New Day card kit and arranged all the pieces in  a collage style.
