GingerLoft – Make a Sky

DSC03665

Yelloooww! I am back after my Eid break and boy it was a fun couple of days of lunches and dinners! Today I am back with another challenge from GingerLoft. The challenge is “To make a sky”. This was the actual first card I made clouds on and after making this baby I was totally hooked! You can see I started very rough at the top and then got hold of it.

I was inspired by the colours in this picture.

DSC03663

I decorated the hot air balloon with purple glitter balls (Pie Lane) and it looks really nice in person. The balloon is coloured with regular Faber Castell’s regular pencils and the clouds are made with ColorBox queue French Blue. It’s a pretty dimensional card, you can’t see the dimension from this angle.

Take out your chalks and create a sky people! If you have never tried your hand on it, I say now is the time! When I can do it in my first attempt, so can you! A random winner will receive 3 digis of their choice from the Gingerloft store and the top3 winners will be asked to be the next Guest DT

Good news… I was asked by Laura of Lia Stampz to join their DT. I was jumping up and down because Lia (Laura’s sis) designs the most fun and edgy stamps! You can check it out yourself HERE.

Will be back tomorrow with PDCC entry and I will visit your blogs today! Happy crafting people!

REMINDER: Don’t forget to play along my challenge “Make your own ribbon/fabric flower(s)” at Yvonne’s blog HERE, there is a ribbon prize for the winner. You will also find my ribbon flower tutorial there.
