Sentimental Sundays: Make Your Own Background Paper

_MG_4717x

Hello and welcome to a brand new challenge over at Sentimental Sundays! We are asking you to make your own background paper, easy peasy! Our sponsor this week is Oak Pond Creations.

I have a journal to share with you today.

This was a blank offwhite cardstock and I used god knows how many inks to make it into this! The big coral and peach flowers are handmade. Applied some texture paste on the edges and then inked it black.

Using Prima’s Romance Novel.

left: pocket with 7 tags , sentiment says "cant get enough of you"
right: space for photo - sentiment says "memories"

Inside the peekaboo page there is space for phot/journaling. Sentiment says: this is why i love you.

WOW (in capital letters)! I was stunned when I read that this started out as off-white cardstock! You are a master of transformation and I absolutely delighted in each detailed shot of this amazing album. The color palette and patterns you incorporated are stunning and I love the dimension you added to the cover with those butterflies and flowers. Truly a treasure and I'm so glad you shared it with us this week here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
