A Sketch Challenge

The card that I have to show you today is based on a sketch from “Our Creative Corner”. It has been a very very long time since I participated in a challenge.
At first I thought I would use some gorgeous earthy papers that Steph sent me, but then as I drew the flowers I inked them up, the papers and the flowers didn’t seem to belong together.

I am becoming a fan of stitching, and as I am still scared to use a sewing machine because of one terrible childhood memory, I thought I would just stick to hand stitching for now. Well you can see the irregularity amongst the stems and the border because I stitched by hand. That would have been better if only my piercing was good enough! LOL I pierce with a fat needle and have to mark the line where i have to pierce, always goes wrong!

It just amazes me how you create everything on your cards - your stitching is fabulous - that is one thing (apart from photoshop!! Hee Hee LOL!!) I just cannot do - I don't have the patience for it.
My mum sews all the time but not me I'm afraid!!!

This is a great card. The stitching gives it a really whimisical feel. I can't believe that you draw your images! I wish I had that talent.

Ouuuuu! I am flippin my lid for your hand-stitching. It is SO incredible! I love the variations in it: PURE art. I find stitching the most meditative part of cardmaking now. Funny, hey? :O) Love these flowers: super stunners as usual!
